For transformation officers and CIOs

Your digital transformation team. For every edge case.

Customware handles the nuances of your business: the unique processes that make your company yours. It works alongside your team and IT to turn them into governed software, with approvals where you need them and a record of every change.

Start with one real process. Your first 20 implementation tasks are free.

Digital transformation that does not stop at deployment

Stop re-explaining the business. Start operationalizing more of it.

The bottleneck is often not the opportunity or the project list. It is the distance between the people who know the work and the people building the system.

Customware shortens that distance. Your subject-matter experts stay connected to the workflow as it is built and improved. A Customware guide supports implementation, onboarding, integration planning, and adoption. IT remains part of the control model. Your organization keeps the knowledge and the ability to change the workflow when the work changes.

More projects moving · Less knowledge lost in translation· A system your organization can keep improving

The old choices and the new model

The bottleneck should be the work you choose to tackle, not how quickly an outside team can learn your business.

Before / Two legacy ways to change

    Path A · Fixed software

    Your team

Brings a real workflow, including exceptions and local rules

    Predefined platform

A fixed data model, workflow, and feature set

→ The process adapts to the software

    Path B · Custom project

    Your team

    Explains how the business works

    Outside delivery team

Learns the business and translates it into requirements

    Software project

    Delivered after the learning cycle

↺ When the work changes, re-explain the context

These are familiar ways to change. One asks the business to fit a fixed framework. The other asks the business to repeatedly teach an outside team how the work really happens. In both cases, your organization's knowledge sits outside the center of the system, and every change can become another translation cycle.

    Customware

Turns process knowledge into governed software and AI-enabled workflows

    Your living workflow

Your organization owns it and evolves it as the work changes

    Organizational capability

Your people can update and improve the process in real time, with the right controls

    Customware guide

Supports implementation, onboarding, integration planning, and adoption

Customware does not remove IT or leave your team alone. It gives your people a direct way to shape the transformation while Customware supports the hard implementation work and IT retains the right guardrails. The result is not just a completed project. It is a governed workflow your organization can operate, update, and expand.

    A governed, living system

Make your organization the faster learner.

Your next transformation project should not begin with another long cycle of extracting knowledge from the people who already understand the work. Customware helps turn that knowledge into a living workflow that your organization can operate, govern, and improve.

    Move priority work forward

Start with the projects that matter but are slow, unclear, or difficult to launch.

    Operationalize the opportunity

Turn the future-state vision, process knowledge, AI opportunity, and required integrations into a working workflow.

    Keep the organization flexible

As the business changes, your people can update the workflow with Customware instead of starting a new requirements-transfer cycle.

    Getting started

What it takes to start responsibly

    01

    Your transformation

How it runs today. Where it needs to go.

Start with the real workflow, including the exceptions, workarounds, spreadsheets, data silos, and systems around it. Then define the future state: the outcome you want, the opportunity you see, the AI role that makes sense, and the integrations your organization needs.

Customware builds toward that vision, one governed workflow at a time.

    02

    Your subject-matter experts

The people who know what makes the work real.

Bring the people who understand the rules, exceptions, handoffs, and decisions behind the workflow. They should not have to translate the work through multiple layers before the system reflects reality.

    03

    Your enterprise guardrails

The right controls for the work.

Bring IT, security, data, or architecture into the process at the level the workflow requires. Define what connects, who approves, where a person remains in the loop, and how the work fits the organization's operating model.

Start small enough to move. Design well enough to scale.

    The Customware operating model

Transformation works when leadership and the people doing the work move together.

The executive team should not have to choose between centralized control and local progress. Customware gives the organization a way to do both: set direction, policy, governance, and security at the top; let the people closest to the work define the reality at the bottom.

Top down · Leadership + IT

Leadership and IT set the direction.

    • Choose the outcome that matters this quarter or this year.
    • Define ownership, policy, security, and approval expectations.
    • Decide where people must stay in control and where AI can assist or act.
    • Connect new work to the organization's systems and operating model.

    Bottom up · Business + subject-matter experts

    End users shape the reality.

    • Explain how the work actually gets done.
    • Capture rules, exceptions, handoffs, and decisions in the workflow.
    • Test and refine the process in real time.
    • Lead adoption because the system reflects the work instead of fighting it.
“We did not start with a platform. We started with people who needed to get their work done.”

    A note from the founder

We started where the work was hardest.

Customware began as Factory Bucket. We built applications around real operational work: supply chains, sign-in tools, scheduling, approvals, quoting, and the processes that did not fit neatly into an off-the-shelf product. That work took us inside Fortune 500 military and defense operations, where we learned why the systems and structures in place worked the way they did, and why the most important work still happened around them.

The pattern became clear. The people who knew the work best were too far from the software being built to run it. They knew the exceptions, the handoffs, and the reason a rule existed. Yet those details were usually lost between the business, IT, and an implementation process.

We kept pushing beyond low-code and no-code platforms. Their bottleneck was the learning curve, and the handoff and maintenance problem when the person who built the app was no longer there. We wanted the subject-matter expert to shape the workflow directly, without heavy-handed IT. Business and IT work together: IT's requirements are met, and the business builds what it needs, custom and in real time, without the expensive overhead of third parties. Now teams have guides from Customware and our AI platform to make those improvements whenever they need to.

That is what Customware is for: leadership sets the direction, IT keeps the right controls in place, the people closest to the work shape the reality, and AI helps run the process where it makes sense.

    Why transformation work gets stuck

Where transformation work usually gets stuck.

    01

The opportunity is clear, but the first move is not.

Leadership can see the productivity, service, risk, or growth opportunity, but the team cannot yet agree on the first workflow, owner, or decision that will get it moving.

    02

The real process does not fit the existing system.

The core platform may be the right system of record. But exceptions, handoffs, and local operating rules still live in spreadsheets, inboxes, side tools, and people's heads.

    03

The business needs to move without losing control.

Teams want to solve real problems with AI and automation, while IT needs the right visibility, policy, security, integration, and change-management model around the work.

    04

AI is being explored, but not yet operationalized.

The organization has ideas and pilots. The harder work is connecting AI to a real workflow, trusted knowledge, appropriate human review, and an outcome the business can measure.

Your core systems are important. The work between them is where Customware starts.

Salesforce, Oracle, ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems can be powerful foundations. The problem is not that they are bad systems. The problem is that the work that makes your organization distinct often sits between them: the exception for the largest customer, a local approval, a non-standard handoff, a scheduling reality, or a rule that only experienced operators know.

That is where data gets copied, decisions move to email, and teams build side processes just to keep work moving. Customware turns that operational gap into a workflow your people can use, and your organization can govern.

    How Customware works

From a real workflow to a governed operating system.

    1. Step 1

      Choose the workflow

Start with an outcome that matters: reducing cycle time, eliminating rework, protecting knowledge, improving service, or moving a stalled process forward.

    2. Step 2

      Capture the operating reality

The people who do the work define the rules, exceptions, handoffs, and judgment points in plain language.

    3. Step 3

      Build with the right controls

Customware and your team shape the workflow, connect the systems that matter, and define where people review, approve, or remain in the loop.

    4. Step 4

      Run, improve, and scale

AI helps with repeatable work where the organization is ready. The workflow remains visible, owned, and improvable as adoption grows.

The workflow, knowledge, and operating logic stay with your organization.

    Knowledge transfer

When the process lives in a few people's heads, the organization is carrying hidden risk.

The rules, exceptions, and judgment that keep work moving are often held by a small number of experienced people. When that knowledge is not captured, onboarding slows down, errors increase, change becomes difficult, and the organization cannot scale what it has learned.

Customware turns that operational knowledge into a workflow people can see, improve, and run. The goal is not to replace expertise. It is to make the organization less dependent on where that expertise happens to sit.

    Enterprise control

Built for change, with the control enterprise teams require.

A workflow is only useful if the organization can trust it. Customware is designed to bring business knowledge, implementation support, and AI together inside the policy, governance, security, and ownership model your organization requires.

Decide where approvals sit. Define which work AI can assist with and which decisions remain with people. Keep the workflow visible as it evolves rather than allowing critical work to disappear into spreadsheets and side systems.

Human in the loop, where judgment matters

Keep people responsible for approvals, exceptions, high-impact decisions, and change control.

AI where it removes real friction

Use AI to guide, organize, and execute repeatable work at the level of autonomy your organization approves.

Governance designed in, not added later

Set ownership, approval, policy, security, and implementation expectations before the workflow scales.

    Connected to the operating environment

Bring the right systems, data, and teams into the build plan rather than creating another disconnected tool.

Operational proof from the work that became Customware

When the people closest to the work can see and change the process, teams stop operating reactively.

“Factory Bucket has changed the way we run our production scheduling operations. The ease of use and how fast it took to implement the platform was amazing. We saw boosts in our production throughput within weeks of implementing and have seen significant improvements in eliminating rework and handling rush jobs. This has been a game changer for us.”

    Questions leaders ask

    Frequently asked questions

No. Customware is designed for the workflows, decisions, and operating gaps that sit around and between the systems your organization already relies on. The implementation plan should identify what needs to connect and what system remains the source of record.

Yes. The goal is to let business experts shape the workflow without creating ungoverned work. IT can participate in the architecture, integration, access, policy, security, and approval model at the level each workflow requires.

Your organization decides. People can remain responsible for exceptions, approvals, high-judgment decisions, and change control, while AI assists with or runs repeatable work where it is appropriate.

Start with one workflow that has a clear owner and a real operational reason to improve. Bring the people who know the work and the right IT stakeholders. Use the first 20 implementation tasks to see whether the model fits.

They should be designed into the workflow before it scales. The exact controls depend on the workflow, the data involved, the systems it touches, and your organization's requirements. Use a formal security and architecture review for the claims and controls that matter to your environment.
